"One's destination is never a place, but a new way of seeing things"

Most humans, at some point in their lives, feel the pull toward a daring escapade — a moment that asks, What if I just… did it?   Some of those leaps into possibility become unforgettable memories. We look back on them with a smile, a spark of disbelief, and a quiet pride that we once dared to do something outrageous, whatever it was.

Some of my own heart‑pounding encounters have left indelible marks on my life. When I revisit them now, I feel glee, wonder, and deep fondness for the woman who followed her inclinations without hesitation.

These days, when I watch incredible feats on YouTube, I sometimes cringe at the life‑threatening possibilities woven into every stunt. How does anyone even consider doing some of this? Then I remember: behind every breathtaking moment lies hours — sometimes years — of practice, discipline, and skill.

As for me, back then, all I needed was desire… and a willingness to say yes.
